Default Stiff key tumbler on Disco 1

Bought a Disco 1 cheap and one problem is the keywon't turn sometimes- just seems that the tumblers don't retract all the way. You have to carefully turn and turn until it finally goes, then the truck starts right up. Any advice? I don't really want to replace it because then I have two seperate keys for doors and ignition - but if I have to I'll replace it. Also tried a locksmith cut key but does not help. Would a new key from LR help? I am doubtful.

Go by a lock smith and have then clean and or lube the tumblers, alot of times old metal shavings from the keys, as they wear down, get stuck in the tumblers.
