Default stubborn rear 02 sensor removal

So im fixing up my truck - last thing i need to do is replace the rear 02 sensors, which seem to be stripped into place. for the damn life of me i cant get them out! even with a vice grip as hard as i can get it, the thing just slips off. any tips on removing 02 sensors in an awkward place, while they are 30-35% stripped!? driving me nuts as its pretty much the last thing i need to do before re-registering. local LR place wanted $700 to replace them. thats not happening.

Cut the wire. Use a 6pt deep socket. An impact gun would be even better.
