Hi everyone new to the site. I have a 97 RR se that i just got. I absolutely love it but i hit the memory button by accident last nite and the seat started to recline. It was pretty far down when i finally got it to stop. But now it wont come back up. I Hear the motor turning the gears or whatnot but the seat will only go down. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

 

Sounds like part of the drive unit has failed on that particular function. I don't know if that is gear driven or cable, but you will be looking at some parts to fix it.

I appreciate the reply. Im gonna go to my work and pick my tools up so i can pull the seat out and take the leather covers off and see if i can get to the motor. HOpefully its just a cable that i can fix.
