Default Testing P38 EAS Pump without a Rover handy

Is there a way to test a P38 EAS System Pump without having the Rover nearby?

I have a pump I want to sell on the want ads but the Rover is in another state (long story)----and I'd prefer to be sure the pump works and is in good order before sending it along.

Also would like to know if there's a way to test the air pump valves for the EAS that are mounted next to that pump?

I don't know how to test the valves, but you can run 12V direct to the largest 2 wires from the compressor. I think the wires are black and a color with a black stripe. Run Negative to the black and pos to the striped wire.
