Default VDO readings agains GPS

I have recently replaced the stock Transfer Case (1.22 ratio with a 1.410 ratio.)
Now my speedo readings is out by 20 km/h.
The "New" case was Cable operated and I have fitted a Speedo Transducer.
0-40 almost equal, 40-80 is 10 km difference, 80-120 is 20 km difference where the speedo shows 120 km/h the GPS shows 100 Km/h.
The question is if there is a setting on the VDO ?
The truck is a Discovery 1 TDi manuel 1997 mod, 300 000 km.

You need to change your drive gear.
Speedo cable ratios LT95-LT230-Series TF - Australian Land Rover Owners

Or make marks for the right speed on your speedometer.

Certainly the cheapest way of solving this issue LOL!

Thank you, useful info on recommended forum.

I know the current drive gear is green and now I must find out if it will be red or blue.
Engine is a 300 TDi, gearbox R380, Transfer LT 230 ,Tyre size 245/70/R16
I could not find the correct combination on the forum.

You might try one of the vendors.
If they can't tell you I'm sure Ian Ashcroft can, though personally I don't like emailing him with technical questions unless I'm actually buying something

True again......! The vendors will rather try and sell you a Disco 5 than give that little bit of information for free.
The prices is not that bad on drive gears and the cost of 2(Red and Blue) will not compare to the price of a new Disco 5
I will order both from British 4x4 and in meantime drive legally on the GPS
Thanks again for usefull info.

Sorry, didn't notice you were in Mozambique and you might only have dealers as options.
