Default Transfer case swap DII 2001 for a DII 2004

Hi, everybody!
I bought a 2001 DII with a bad transfer case (non-lockable) and want to put in a transfer case from a 2004 DII that is lockable. The 2001 has only one warning lamp switch, the 2004 has two. More importantly, the solenoid switch on the 2001 comes from the transfer case body, but the solenoid switch for the 2004 is in the selector housing. Is there a easy way to make these electrical parts function? I have the entire shifter, shifter selector box and linkages from the 2004.

Never mind. Todd with Toddco just got back with me. The 2004 does not have a solenoid period. He said the only wire that needs to be hooked up is the high/low detect switch.

Thanks!

You might want to get a second option, all Rover t/cases with automatics have a shift lock solenoid to prevent shifting while in gear.
