Default Trouble with cold start
Discovery td5 54 reg,,,,this car has been a good starter until now,,,when cold it is taking ages to kick in and run but when the engine is hot there is no problem...ideas anyone

Glow plugs? They can visually look good but not heat up when needed. Or wiring/fuses/relay to same. Voltage test is not enough, you'll want to see that they are actually drawing amps to make heat.

Glow plugs would be a good place to start, as well as quality of fuel, did you change brands recently?
How cold is it there?
What condition is the air filter in? Fuel filter?

Damn that was cheap.... now you won't have to practice for the Olympics by pushing the Disco....
