Default V8 Weak left bank

I have a 3.9 Range Rover engine fitted with an Edelbrock carburettor. I recently fitted Air Fuel Ratio sensors in the left and Right exhausts in order to set up the carburettor. Unfortunately whatever combination of jets and rods I use the left bank is always much weaker than the right. left bank can be about 16:1 AFR while the Right Bank can be 14.7:1 AFR. I don’t think it is a manifold air leak as the same sort of difference exists at all revs. Any ideas would be very much appreciated.

What year is your truck?
Have you checked for vacuum leaks?

Default Weak Left Bank

Many thanks Disco Mike. Following your suggestion I disconnected and blanked all the vac pipes, unfortunately with no change, however, it was worth a try. I have also swapped over the AFR sensors and checked the Compression, float level, timing, Hydro Carbons 120, all appears to be OK. I think I will just have to go right back to basics and replace the manifold gasket again just to eliminate air leaks.

I hope you don't think me cheeky but I don't actually have a Land Rover, just a tuned up 1989/91 3.9 Range Rover engine in a Dax Rush kit car, however, you guys would have more of an idea than others regarding this engine.
I will give an update when I have found the problem but may have to wait a while. (You know how it is, grass needs cutting and windows to paint).
Many Thanks
Allan
