Hi new here. I'm trying to help my buddy on his wifes discovery 2 rover, I think it's a 2001. We need to replace the valve covers and I know it looks like the intake has to be taken off as well. I'm just trying to get some info on what gaskets and or other parts I will need and exactly what all has to be done and taken off in the process. Any information would be great. Thanks.

 

How many miles on it?
Have you tightening the 2 v/c bolts, that usually just vibrate loose.
When done, power scrub the engine at the local car wash, using cold water only and keep an eye on it for a few days, usually all it takes.
