Works for me, the chemical compounding number is a mild mixture of zinc. It's $12 bucks. Usually the Rotela has been around the same price. I'm out of the Rover game and to be honest whatever keeps parts from touching is good enough, the cheaper the better.

What do you typically use? I'm presently using Rotella synthetic but have read others on the forum changing over to Dino? Why is this?

I've been using Rotella 15w-40 Dino stuff. Had it coming on an Amazon subscription, 2 gallons every 3 months but they just ran out or something.
I saw this Valvoline in WalMart and was surprised to see Zinc listed. Even the Rotella doesn't list Zinc.

Thanks. I was surprised to hear that guys were running dino oil in their Rovers as I've read a lot about synthetic on these forums. I'll give this a try - cheap with zinc and it's oil.... anything to keep parts from rubbing up against each other lol..

I ran this in my wife's trailblazer until i switched over to Rotella. I don't think there will be much difference in the two. I do like the price of it.

Cost $15.00 per Gallon
