Hello,

I'm project leader of the 'World Flight Para Project', very quickly - it's a project that we are doing to raise money for UNICEF and Cancer Research charities by flying a powered paraglider from Scotland to South Africa.



Although I will be flying it, we need two ground vehicles for the ground crew to come along with all the equipment. Naturally the vehicle of choice - Land Rover!

I can get hold of either the Land Rover Freelander and the Discovery models.

Freelander is cheaper but then theres the problem about ground clearance etc etc, I'm not sure if it would be suitable...

Any info, opinions, comments etc would be appreciated.

Go with the Discovery, you be have a much better vehicle with less in field problems.

 

Ok thanks, what about vehicle spec? engine size recommended etc?
