Default Vehicle System Shuts Down While Driving

We just purchased a "new to us" 2007 LR3 V8 SE. The vehicle has an issue where the whole center console (radio, navigation, hvac) shuts down while driving. The vehicle continues to run, but the hazard lights come on. It says "Vehicle System Shutting Down" on the radio screen before it shuts off. The HVAC stops blowing first, then the radio message and it shuts off, then the navigation screen. Does anyone know what may be the cause of this behavior?

The previous owners removed the air suspension and replaced it with standard coil over shocks. Not sure if that is related.

Either a loose battery connector or the alternator is on the way out. Usually you will get a battery light... But basically the power management will start to disable system systems in a priority manner to keep the engine itself running. With that said, is the battery good? Does it start perfectly fine? There could be other causes such as water entry that damaged something.

Also posting in the specific LR3 forum will get you a lot more help. The general help forum does not get as many eyes.

Thumbs up Update

Got the battery and alternator tested. Both were in perfect condition. Saw on another post that the issue is often related to the instrument cluster. I ordered a salvaged one that had been tested as good and swapped them out. Using the Fast Lane service from GAP-Diagnostic, I was able to re-flash the part with my vehicle's information and VIN. Have driven it a couple of times since the swap and have not had the issue reoccur. If you don't mind having your vehicle down for a bit, I found there is a guy that does rehabs on your instrument clusters for (currently) about $285. Will save you the hassle of having to re-flash the part.

He also has a YouTube channel where he shows the process of refurbishing the cluster.
