Default Vibration

Hey I hope y’all are doing good I gotta a disco 1 I think I need to replace the ujoints there is a vibration when I give it the gas when it’s gearing up and going also there is a clanking noise when it’s put in drive from reverse and vice versa I hope I’m clear enough thank y’all

Sounds like U joints. Check both front and rear U joints.

Also if the rear drive shaft was not converted to a (2) U joint shaft, check the condition of the Rotoflex.
When it's bad you can get a vibration when accelerating. If the Rotoflex is bad either replace it with a proper GKN Brand part (the cheap aftermarket rotos SUCK) or buy the drive shaft conversion kit. Either way it's a simple repair and there are a ton of YouTube videos on how to do both. You can see some pics here > OkieRover.com

IMHO, if it's a choice between replacing the Roto or getting the (2) U joint shaft...... Get the new drive shaft. Good Luck!
