Warped head gasket
Hello,
I have a 1998 Range Rover 4.6 HSE in great shape, the engine overheated , the head warped and now there is no pressure in the cylinders. It appears that my only option is to replace the head or the engine or send it to the junk yard. It is a great car and everything works perfectly except for the motor, do I have any other options, is it possible to sell it for parts. It has 140k miles and I am not sure if it is worth it to put money into it for the repairs, though there are no other problems and the car is great looking with a soild body. Any thoughts???

You can have both of your heads planed (shaved to make flat again) for around $200.
DIY head gaskets is under $500.
Used heads can be bought also for cheap, but then you are going to want to make sure they are flat too before installing them.
