Whining noise from the Temp Control
Here is a new one. I noticed a week or so ago a subtle whining from the dash board of my truck when I would turn the steering wheel. (initially thought it was something to do with the steering) It had become very pronounced today and very loud.
I have the notion it was in the Temp Control because when I power down the temp control..presto, the whining is instantly gone!
My assumption is that it is the fan motor or fan itself? although today I can say the whining would neither increase or decrease when I would adjust the fan speed.
Can this be greased and taken apart?
Where should I begin?
I did head up into cold weather today (Colorado mountains) Only mention this because in the time between the incidents I was in town and no whining.
