I am interested in a 1994 Discovery but can't seem to get a vehicle inspection on a car of that age. I don't want a 200 point check, just an inspection of the body and mechanics to make sure it's roadworthy, sound and not requiring stacks of welding next MOT. I want a good example for my money. It is in Nottingham and I'm in Wales so I would have to commit before going to get it. I'm not mechanical enough for a proper inspection and it's too far for my brother, who did a great job vetting my 1968 90, to go. So does anyone know of a garage in that area that would do it for a reasonable fee or would anyone in that area be interested in inspecting it them self for a fee?
