Default Are you ready for some rebuiiiiiiild?!!!

Sorry, I'm excited about receiving my 4 u-joints and centering bearing I ordered from Advance Auto after reading Tom's Propshaft Rebuild post.

Good ol' USA-made:

The centering ball came with a red rubber sleeve instead of the cardboard one you might have seen in the instructions:

The greased up spring in the center of the aforementioned sleeve:

Where the grease nipple will go:

The circlips that came with the u-joint (notice the "open" one - that little space is for the grease nipple):

I was a little nervous when I didn't see "neapco" on the box:

But I found it on the back of the box (sigh of relief):

Neapco is, however, prominent on the centering bearing box:

Looking forward to a fun Saturday!

I am grateful to everyone here. Just a week or so ago, I had no clue what any of this was, now - after much reading - I feel confident that I can undertake this project. Thank you. Information is power. I'll keep you all posted on the results.

Now, I'm sure I can fit under my DII without having to lift it or put it on a ramp... right?

-Anthony
