Evoque intake System?
seems like an air intake system is like some kind of urban myth for this car. I've seen some people make custom ones, and use systems designed for different vehicles. Anyone have some input? ps, i have a 2013 pure plus
I cannot comment on your specific vehicle, but;
I've seen and replaced stock air intakes on many vehicles.
My experience has always been, that unless the engine has been been upgraded(cam, heads, tune, ect), that there is no need for more air in.
Considering that electronic fuel injection controls how much air/fuel goes in, and that most any modern efi is factory lean anyway for emmisions, there is no need or advantage for more air in. Unless, as said, the engine has been modified with a need for it.
Just bolting on a "cold air intake" does nothing. Other than make the air induction louder, and suck Hot air if it's an exposed filter.
Snake oil for a stock vehicle.
