Default [urgent help] my LR2 won't start!

Please help!
I just bought a brand new LR2 in 7 days ago! (August 31, 2008). On that day, I drove from dealer to home, that's it. Then in the past week, I took the bus and subway for job. Didn't drive my car at all.

On Saturday(September 6, 2008), I drove my new car to visit my parents in 100 miles away. After I arrived, I parked LR2 outside. Then there was a thunderstorm and heavy rain.

After couple of hours when I want to go home....insert the key, press start button... Nothing happened!! The small monitor showed: Engine System fault

I tried again and again, all the same message: Engine System fault

Come on (and other 100 dirty words in my mind)....this is only the 2nd time I drive this brand new car and the total mileage is less than 200 miles!!! How is that possible?

Please help! What is this problem? Looks like software problem, not hardware thing. Is that possible to fix it and never let it happen again?

I called dealer to tow it back.... But I really worry about it... Please, anyone knows more about my case?[/align]

Default RE: [urgent help] my LR2 won't start!

there are several no start issues with the lr2, most fixed with a software retune. they also had issues with the starters. the dealer will take care of it, and once they do, it will be fine, but yeah, there are a few glitches that should have been taken care of before you took the car. make sure that they retune the PCM, as there is new software that has come out within the past week that fixes a problem.
