Default 2008 lr2 towing 1,900lbs 3,000 miles what should I consider before the trip?

Hey all, new to the forums and seeking some advice before I make a big move with my lr2. I'll be renting a 5x8 trailer and I estimate the load including the trailer weight to be about 1,900lbs. I already purchased and installed a class III hitch just for kicks and hooked up trailer wiring. Breaks are at 70% which I guess should be good to go, the tires are also in good shape. Before I head out I plan to change the oil and transmission fluid. I was also considering installing a transmission cooler, I know the vehicle has one but it looks kind of small, would a larger/aftermarket one be a better idea and if so could someone possibly point me to a kit that would bolt up? I will be going through tahoe but plan to keep a slow/safe pace. Any additional thoughts/opinions are greatly appreciated. Also, what would you all recommend as safe driving intervals for the vehicle? 800-1000 miles before parking it for some shut-eye?
Thanks again all!

I guess there aren't too many freelander or lr2 owners here. Maybe that's a good sign in regards to the LR2.

What does your owner's manual say in regards to towing capacities? (I'm in an airport and too lazy to look it up on my phone).

I've used an LR3 to tow right up to the max rated capacity, but only about 100 miles or so, and it did fine. About 7400lbs of a dead LR3 and the trailer it was sitting on. Of course that was with electric brakes.
