The fuse blowing does indicate a likely problem with the fuel pump.
One would expect the pump to fail completely not long after it starts blowing fuses, sounds like maybe it has.
If you can locate the wiring harness for the pump it would be good ti inspect that for damage, as much of it as you access. But it's more likely the pump.
