So after a little bit of waiting, we now have two codes that showed up.
P068A= Engine control module/Powertrain control module- power relay de-energized too early
P0114= O2 sensor circuit bank 2 downstream sensor: last occurrence - maximum strength
Sooooo, i erased codes and attempted to start the vehicle again. Same continuous clicking from what seems to be the starter relay. no attempt at all to turn the vehicle over.
i turned the ignition off for 5 minutes, hooked the reader back up and get no codes. All the while the check engine light is still on. i have already went over relays in the engine bay and inside the cab. Any other thoughts FLYBD5?

Have the battery tested and charged at your local auto parts shop, if it doesn't check out good, replace it.

As suggested above, get the battery LOAD tested. Voltage is one thing, the ability to deliver amperage, LOAD, is another. In addition, remove the skid plate and have someone sit in the car while you hit on the starter with a rubber mallet. If it starts, get your starter rebuilt.

IMO LR2 starters are inexpensive enough to be replaced rather than be rebuilt, but that's a matter of opinion, I guess.
