20km speed limitation
I got a 2009 model LR2 10 months ago and being unable to drive beyond 20km/per hour after every 30days.
Diagnosis detects throttle pedal sensor which I replaced but same fault persist each month till date.
So the issue is that I drive at normal speed daily for about 10km distance total each day, I could run 60km/HR or more. However after using car with no problems for about a month it becomes suddenly that it can't move beyond 20km/hr speed.
At first I wonder if it's a matter of 30days to reach this repeat problem but just in last few days I traveled to another city for first time since purchased this car and at 300km covered from last date of clearing error, barely a week, the problem surface again last night.
A new impression is formed that perhaps it's a matter of every 300km distance that this problem returns after last error code clearing.
I need advise and Help from anybody past experience.

This is an interesting situation. The only “speed limiter” I’m aware of are from the Terrain Response system and the Limp Home mode if there is a fault in the engine or transmission.
It would be worthwhile to see specifically what codes have been thrown. All of the codes.
Cheers

Bishop,
I am going to assume that you own a Petrol Powered 3.2. (if not stop reading and post your question on FREEL2 if you have a diesel)
You will need more information to determine what isn't working
The variable valve lift solenoid may be sticking and preventing you from getting to the high lift mode. I believe that the low lift mode will limit the engine output to about 27 horsepower which will limit the speed that you can attain.
You could simulate the failure mode by disconnecting the sensor and driving around the block.

3.6 mm lift vs 10.0 mm lift

Another possibility is that the electronic throttle isn't opening fully (or it might even be stuck)

Here is mine at high idle 31% Throttle CMD

And at low idle 20% Throttle CMD

Check to see if your throttle is opening when you get the fault.
Good luck
Paul
