So the problem seems to be when my LR2 (that I just purchased) is stopped the AC works on and off. However when moving the AC seems fine?

What is your water temp when you're stopped? Could be your radiator fan.

 

Yesterday the outside air temp was mid 90's. Drove the car for about an hour and temp gauge stayed right in the middle of the gauge. AC worked great until stopped and almost instantly the cold air turned to blowing warm.
