Hey there, I purchased a 2008 LR2 HSE this year for my girlfriend and ever since buying she would always complain that the headlights (dim) do not shine up and that they point down at the road to much. Well after taking a look at them today apparently this has an AFS system much like my cadillac does. I checked the fuses and all are ok, there is no indicator light flashing signalling a failure anywhere…..and upon checking power inside the headlight itself i put my test light on one wire to one of the motors and it lit up but i also must of hit the one next to it and it popped a fuse. So i clearly have power going there.

After some reading on the forums my next guess would be the afs module. I've heard some guys call them the afs ecm but the only thing i could find under my dash was a AFS HCM. Is this the part i should be looking at? It gives me the number 5df 009 041 70/ae but when i type that up in ebay or just google it i don't get much action on that number?!
