Default Coolant system issues chipped aluminum nipple at front of motor from lower coolNt li

Are there any work arounds for a chipped aluminum nipple on front of the motor where the lower radiator hose connects to the side of the VOLVO motor on an 08 LR2 i was considering stubbing out the fancy connector and using a standard hose clamp. Any guidance or any other train of thoughtthat may be a solution to my coolant system issue
Thank you

Can you be more specific?

Take a look at this link

Is the broken part LR002686 ???

If yes then the pipe is replaceable but getting to it is non trivial.

Good luck
