It is not necessary to remove the manifold, but he has the benefit of a proper lift. I remember you said changing yours caused you some grief. He also billed me an hour for the labor so I doubt he had to take out the manifold.

Default Same problem

Hey did you ever get this figured out my lr2 does the same thing. Just every now and then it will come on and then off

Yes, as I said above, replacing the purge valve took care of the problem. I have an extra valve if you need it.
