Default Front driver seat does not recline

Hello.
My Freelander 2 front driver seat will not recline, but it will angle forward.
Everyother movements are ok. The whole seat will move forward and back, up and down but just will angle forward and does not recline.

Any clues?
How can i fix this?

Thanks all

Hello again!
I was disassembling (trying) to try to understand if any wire would be disconnected with cut or out of normal.
Everything seemed well connected.
I turned everything off and even with the sockets off, the bank's engines work.
But ... the bank continued without reclining back.
What are the yellow, orange, pink and blue sockets for?
I turned them off and the bank works the same.
I didn't find anything wrong.
Why doesn't the seat recline backwards?

Hug to everyone

Clean the switch thoroughly with contact spray. Check to see if the connector has come loose. Otherwise you need to replace the switch, or the entire module.

Hello.
I was just doing that.
And, with the connectors disconected, the seat was still moving. Just not the recline to back.
When you say to replace the entire module, is the board where the buttons are?

Yes. I just checked, and you can't get just the switch unless you go to a salvage yard, and even then it's best to just replace the entire module. There's one with the memory switches and one without.

I do think your best is a salvage yard. I recommend searching in car-parts.com, assuming you are in the US. Otherwise look for one in your country.

Not hard at all. There are plenty of salvage yards in the UK with Freelander 2's. Google is your friend.

So ask for a LHD panel. The UK yards and dealers sell to buyers all over Europe and abroad. Besides, the part numbers for LHD and RHD are the same. Look at the diagram again.
