Just bought a 2003 free lander and discovered it had coolest leak in it. Took it in the shop and found out that the shop that repaired the head gasket last time did so much damage to the block. Now I am looking at having to replace engine. PROBLEM! Now where is there a used or rebuilt block in the province. I hate to ask but is there another engine example ford or what ever. That could be swapped into it. This has turned into a huge problem and I have only been able to put a few kl on it. Am I sunk?

 

Well I have been looking myself. Depends what province you are in. I have found one in Nova Scotia and seen a few in the west coast. If you find out if an engine swap can be done let me know, I am thinking the same. I have a 2003 freelander sport
