Default Low coolant warning keeps popping up. Coolant is not low.

2013 LR2 HSE lux. Car was dumping coolant like crazy, low coolant warning would pop up, I’d check and the coolant would need topped up every day and then the warning would go off. A mechanic came over, said the water pump was clogged. He replaced it and that did not fix the issue, still leaking coolant. Since the new water pump the low coolant light stays on even when the tank was at a perfect level. I got a second opinion and was told it was my thermostat stuck closed. They changed out the thermostat and hurray! It is no longer leaking or running hot. My current problem is, the low coolant warning is still on despite coolant no longer being low or leaking. Like I said, prior to the new water pump it would throw the warning when actually low and go off when topped, now even when levels are not low, the warning persists on my dash and makes me nervous to drive it without diligently checking the levels before driving. Any idea? Faulty float?

You may need to replace the reservoir. The sensor for low coolant is at the bottom of that. Or try pulling it and thoroughly cleaning it to see if you can unstick the float.
