The Continental CrossContacts on my LR2 are getting pretty worn down and it's time to look for some new tires.

I'll probably be looking to trade for a new vehicle in a year or two so I don't really want to spend a ton of money on tires right now. Mostly we just drive in town with occasional highway trips and don't really need anything with crazy off-road capabilities. We're in Portland Oregon so snow isn't much a problem but it rains pretty regularly through most of the year and wet traction could be a concern.

Was hoping to find something on the cheaper end (sub $500 for 4 tires) and was looking at Milestar MS932's and Falken ZIEX ZE612's. Does anyone have any experience with those tires or have a different reco in that price range?

I ran Falkens on my MGB they are pretty good tires. I haven't had any issues with them.

 

Check discount tire direct on eBay. They have a $100 off $400 coupon, ends 8/31. You can use it 3 times. I just ordered Nitto Terra Grapplers for my father in laws F-150. $434-$100 for 2. I placed two orders. $668 total for 4 275/60R20.

 

I recently got some Nito 850's ($730 installed in SOCAL).

Seem to work fine, the vendor said they might be a tiny bit louder on the highway but I can barely notice if I think about it.
