Default Roof carrying capacity and options...

I have recently installed the roof rails on my LR2 and am looking for crossbars so I can actually use it. I am also looking at getting a Thule Hyper XL cargo box, which weighs around 57 pounds. I read somewhere on another forum that the load capacity of the OEM crossbars is only 160 pounds. If that is the case, then that would only leave me 100 pounds of actual cargo I could load into that rather large cargo box.

So that leads me to two questions:

1) Does anyone know for sure and from a reputable source what the weight capacity of the OEM crossbars is?

2) Has anyone else used different crossbars than the OEM ones on the factory roof rails? If so which ones, and what is their weight capacity in comparison? (Pictures would be great too, if you have them.)

Thanks! I have one more question. I think I have decided the Thule Hyper XL is just too big for my LR2 and am looking into two alternate options.

1) The Thule Sonic in Large size.

or

2) The Yakima Skybox Pro 16s.

Does anyone have either of these boxes? My primary concern at this point is highway noise. If anyone has either of these on a LR2 or other rover, can you report back about wind noise.
