Default My 2008 LR2 went dead while running

Last Tuesday -August 4th- my LR2's dash lights went off while getting off a drive thru ramp. It stopped, and the key fob got stuck in the dash. Since then, I have not been able to make it start, though I could manage to get the key fob out. Brother in law tried to scan it but dash does not light up so no scan. No two mechanics seem to agree, and opinions go from key fob's dead battery to defective key fob's port, to faulty wiring or defective computer module. Anybody has had this experience?

Have you had the car's battery tested? Checked all the fuses?

I've never seen this before (and I hope I never do). You may have to go to the dealer to connect the car to the super computer.

One very long shot I would check is to go behind the glove compartment and make sure none of the connectors have come loose and disconnected.

How exactly did you check the battery? Under load?
