Default Narrowing a transfer case vs cv axle issue

I have a 2012 lr2 with 75k, when i turn while still in my driveway there is a binding feeling on front, i see some play in front passenger side axle on the inner boot, before the carrier holder in middle. Its almost out but do i need to remove the carrier bolts to the engine? Or will it just come out of transfer case and then through the round hope in the carrier? Also, if i remove it from transfer case and then drive it and the binding is gone how do i go about knowing if its the axle or transfer case issue. No codes, no other issues

I strongly suggest you download the service manual and carefully study the sections on the front halfshafts and the front transfer case before doing anything. Stop driving the car before you do more damage. That should be obvious.

And I pointed to the answers. Since you can obviously read, I think you should do as i suggested. Or you can "figure something out." <shrug>
