Default New LR2 Owner - HATE IT!

Have already been out off-road with the truck, fantastic. Coming from a 2007 Jeep Wrangler. Jeep was just as capable, but not nearly as luxurious of course!

Paid $6650 off sticker for a brand new 2008 HSE (there's $3500 dealer cash in October), in case that helps any future shoppers.

Ok I found one thing I hate, the windshield wipers. Even at their slowest setting they're way too fast for my taste.

Well my wipers settled down and now I'm happy with those, but unhappy with the driveline vibration I get coming through the steering wheel at speeds over 70mph. I can barely hang on to the wheel over 80. Guess I'm stuck with that. (before people chime in and say it's good for safety, the speed limit in my area is 75mph).

update- I hate this truck now. The thing vibrates to all hell. The wheels have been balanced to no effect. It's apparently well into the drivetrain which the dealer is incapable of dealing with. I'm probably going to have to go down the lemon road...

go buy a ugly jeep liberty then. oh wait, there reliabilty sucks to. mm, get a fj cruiser, you can look like a douche bag. WAIT, you sound more like a hummer H2 guy. renowed offroad vehicals, NOT!

also, the vibration might be the tires arent the right size/ there deflated. or your driveshaft is unaligned.

you should of researched about it before. A good website to got to for reviews is http://www.topspeed.com/cars/topspee...ge/ke3166.html. I like the LR2 its like a mini of off roaders. It just sucks that most of the people who buy land rovers don't take advantage of its off roading capabilities.

Still no resolution to this unfortunately. Beware the vibration! It's very dangerous in my truck.

ive never seen a complaint of a vibration on these cars, you need to take it back to the dealer and have them figure it out, if its in the steering, then its in the front susp. not that hard to pinpoint it. take it back and have them take care of it, everyone i drive rides very well, and i go over 70 quite often
