Had new tires put on the LR2. As soon as I left I noticed a whine from the (tires?) I know about diff issues but this started as soon as I left, going check for damage from lift . Anyone experienced this

Tire noise is likely due to the specific thread pattern/block and the quality of the tires you choose.

Most big off road tires are gonna whine when you get up to speed

update, was the rear differential, took it to the dealer who put it up on the rack with engine running and in gear, could hear it plain as day , gears and bearings, new unit being installed, my cpo expired in May, there are two TSB's out on the rear differential, but I don't have access to the entire tsb but they talk about the noise complaints and bearing failure, don't expect any help from dealership, but I'll certainly mention the tsb's by number...tsb id ssm54417, and Sam 46477. will commend the dealer on providing me a loaner 2019 Jaguar F-pace, nice ride

I think there is an updated version of the rear diff, which might hold up better. Try to get them to install that instead of the original version.

Just diagnosed our 2010 LR2 with a bad wheel bearing the dealer thought was rotated tire noise. 103K miles.

It’s quite, this car has never been this quiet. Dealership kept the price exactly where they estimated. Costly but definitely not disappointed.
