I took a photo of the hatchback rear driver's side window.....looks like a missing part (an antenna or defrost control module/cover)? The passenger side has a elongated black plastic cover. And, Merry Christmas to all that read this!! What's missing or is this normal?
It looks like the connector for the DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) antenna, see here: DAB Antenna. I assume all LR2/Freelander 2's have the same rear window with the antenna on it, if the car has DAB a wire is attached. The passenger side window has a FM antenna. Later models had two connectors on the drivers side window, one for DAB and one for a fuel fired booster heater (both optional extras in some areas).
