No. The problem is not an exhaust component, the problem is that the engine harness has a female connector that does not fit the LR001459 sensor male plugs.

IIRC early 2008 MY had a few minor differences... definitely the brake hoses

You can always just splice the wires, and hope the ECU can adapt if the resistance of the wires or sensor is different.

Gotta find the right plug first.

Holy moleed. I finally found a sensor with the right plug. It''s the Denso 234-9151. Expensive at $274 before the veteran discount, but if it fits and turns off the 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 light, I'm happy. Comes with a good warranty too.

Denso? That's odd since they are mostly for Asian vehicles. Anyway, happy for you that you finally got this fixed!

Surprised me too. I was fully expecting it not to fit, but it slipped right in.

Denso is the OEM supplier of O2 sensors, radiators and many other parts for General Motors also. We own 2 GMC Yukon XL Denalis and they both have a ton of Denso parts. Probably has something to do with why they last 400K miles.

You're welcome. I should point out that was the price at Autozone because I wanted the 1 year warranty from them. It might be less expensive elsewhere. The LR dealer wanted over $500 (!!), and even when I told them I am a disabled vet the least they could so was $380 and change. Kudos to the parts guy for trying, but that's a HUGE markup for a measly sensor!
