OEM Alternator Required?

The fan is the strong, silent type. If the car has never overheated that suggests the fan is working correctly.

fixed the loose bolt on the drive cog and then had to replace a perfectly good alternator because the plastic connector broke off. Put it all back together and it was all set. Unfortunately I couldn’t trust it any further due to other things I was seeing and we traded in the LR2 for an E-PACE with a warranty. Lost a boatload of $$. The LR2 was much more abused than anyone would imagine but it sure looked nice on the outside. Only put 5K miles on it in a year and a half.
