This week I get a new diagnostic box that can handle these errors, but there's more. The sunroof doesn't work either. WTF do all these things have in common?

Found it. The connector at the top of the ECM was loose. Plugged it in correctly and all is well now.

Thanks, but the question remains, how did a locking connector come loose? <sigh>

Maybe I got the name wrong. It's the large box with multiple harnesses connecting to it right behind the glove box. The connector in question is at the very top.

A passenger with a need to maybe extend while sitting in the passenger seat to take something out of a back pocket or a kid with active feet, lol. It's a really stupid spot to locate the BCM.

I thought the BCM is on the right hand side, behind the carpet. The box I am talking about is exposed, has a plastic cover that snaps on and goes up maybe half the height of the box.

Above the passenger footwell fuse box panel? So directly behind the glovebox then? Now I have to check mine, did not know there was another module there, lol. No way that should come loose unless someone discoed it and never reconnected it properly.

I agree. Oh well, it's fixed, water under the bridge, still have the blower motor and radiator to do, then the trailer hitch. I also want to disconnect the navi since i put a Garmin on the screen. The blower motor is still a challenge, I need to flip the instrument panel out and hope I can get my arm in there to undo the housing screw.
