Hi all,

I'm new to this forum so pardon me if my post is out of place.

About a week ago I bought my first Land Rover, a lightly used 2011 LR2 HSE LUX, and for the life of me I can't figure out how to load more than one CD in the 6 disc changer. The owner's manual says to press the CD mode button, then a number 1 through 6 to pick a slot, and then just load it. I'm going a little crazy trying to figure out why I can't do something that seems so simple.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and would work wonders for my sanity.

Oh, and please spare me the "it's 2016 why do you use CDs?" stuff. I like CDs. That's why.

Did you ever find out how to load the cds, I am having the same problem.

Are you sure you have a cd changer?

If you have a cd changer the display will show 6 "cd's":


Cars without cd changer only show 1 "cd":


Both pictures are of the same model radio. If you have six circles displayed on the screen then you have a cd changer. If only one as in the bottom image then you only have a single cd unit.

 

Loading CD Changer:
Press the button for whatever disc you want to load. When it opens just pop it in. Once it begins to load that CD, press the next button. It will tell you that it's changing to a different slot. Hit the eject and load the CD. Repeat.
