Default The problem with little cars

My Smart 451 Cabrio threw the serpentine that turns the alternator and water pump. At least I was able to get to a mechanic after buying the replacement. When I got there, he put it up on the lift, waited a sec and called me over. Apparently when the belt gave up the ghost and went flying all over the place, it took the body of the oil pressure sensor to hell with it. Oof. Mercedes wants $40 and hurry up and wait for the part. Amazon wants $8.95 for the same part. What's funny is that I realized the oil filter is the size of one of those tiny cans of Coca-Cola. LOL!
