Reduced Engine Performance/Low Coolant level
You're welcome.
BTW, if you do have to change the catalytic converters, you can buy those from Canada at a pretty good price. If that's what you need let us know, I'll give you the contact info for the company that sells them.

my absolute apologies lizzya.., but this is a common theme on another forum i belong. And I can’t believe a dealer would risk a reputation and a certification over a few dollars. If this is in fact the case the dealer should be reported to LR corporate headquarters and Country Customer Relations. They would be severely dealt with.

So, he called around for a used engine it will cost me about $2966 with a one year warranty and labor is almost the same. Brand new one is about $10k
$5700 is almost what the car is worth, I have to ask myself is it worth it?
I just installed new front and back rotors and brake pad of about $900 and other works done in the last month or so I have spent almost $3k on the car

Thanks for the referral really good and honest workshop
@flybd5 Just a quick update drop it with Mid Atlantic, he advised that i need a new engine: 3 of the Cylinder's are gone and it was due to the car overheating I told him that the temperature gauge did not indicate engine overheating, only the check engine light flashing and low coolant level. I asked him why didn't i see the leak he explained that it was leaking through the exhaust.

Whether or not it is worth it is up to you. If you do this in the end the car is yours free and clear and has a warranty for a year. With the replaced engine, if it is in really good shape otherwise you can probably get up to about $7,000 for it in a private sale.
