Default Rodent Repellent

This morning I had a face-to-face encounter with a live mouse on my windshield cowl. He was too fast for me to catch.

So I purchased a bottle of peppermint spray called Mighty Mint and sprayed the engine bay and wheel wells. The reviews are mixed on peppermint oil and mice, but most of them indicate it works. If it doesn't, at least I have the nicest smelling engine bay in my neighborhood.

Any tips on keeping rodents away?

Surefire method: Cat

Other than that, daily drivers are less conducive to rodent comfort.

What he said.

Peppermint and lemongrass oil works amazingly well to get rid of ticks and other unwanted little suckers from the yard and inside the house.

You could also use a mouse trap but do check it every single day.
