Default Sirius receiver

Do any of you who have active SiriusXM subscriptions for the receiver in your car have full channel lineups showing up on the display? Mine doesn't, and I wonder if I have to apply a firmware update using the JLR SDD software.

Does anyone know if it is possible to swap an older model Sirius box with a newer SiriusXM box from a newer LR?

Don't know for sure (not a Siriux user) but since you can upgrade to a newer Bluetooth receiver (without re-registering it) I would have to believe this should also work with the Siriux module. I would not think you would need to register a new feature either because you are not starting from scratch.

Heh. I tried to get a hold of the manufacturer of the SDARS module, Visteon, and it turns out it's one of those chickensh*t Virginia companies who will not allow you anywhere near a technical support person. I was hoping I could just rip out this useless module and hookup a SiriusXM car mounting module but it needs to talk to the radio head through MOST. I am pissed. Sirius bought XM the same year this car was made. There is ZERO excuse for this system not to work correctly. Clearly, Visteon makes crap products.

different types of receivers are listed. Both AUX and MOST and other integration options… including FM.

Problem could be 'marring' it to the stock head unit or totally changing the head unit.

I don't see anything that supports being controlled from MOST.

my apologies, I too cannot find a MIST compatable device.
On looking deeper, I also found that there has not been a lot of movement on MOST in recent years.
There’ still FM and AUX.

I figured it out. It's the stupid design of the user interface on the radio. I have to use a different button to scroll and then save my favorite channels, then I can tune them from the steering wheel.
