Default What’s Leaking this time?! 2008 LR2

Looking for help from anyone familiar with what these parts look like. Have a new leak in a new location and don’t know what I’m looking at. Can anyone identify the part pictured, identify what type of fluid is leaking, and give opinions about what’s causing the leak(blown gasket, loose hose clamp etc). My initial thought was transmission fluid, but don’t know enough about the parts. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Wet. Very slow drip.

This piece with the 4 bolt heads facing the ground.

Looks like the Active On-demand Coupling, aka AOC, aka Haldex.

There are several seals which could fail on that, the pump, the filter, and the computer cover. Seal kits are available, make sure you correctly identify your Haldex version (probably 3 or 4).

If it's haldex 3 you'll need to remove the prop shaft flange to remove the pump.

I'd clean it off good, and then run the engine for a while in he driveway and see if you can see exactly where the fluid's coming from.

It's also possible that your leak is differential oil... unlike the haldex fluid, that will smell strongly like gear oil (sulfur).
