The hurricane/cyclone hitting Florida right now got me thinking about this. What's the max depth that I can drive through? Also, what could I do to increase the max level? I read that getting bigger tires & raising the riding level can help.

19.7 inches; https://savageonwheels.com/2013/07/0...and-rover-lr2/
I would suggest exercising wading caution re actual depth and current speed. Slow is best as you will create a wake. Research the topic on Google.
You can likely go up to a 255mm in either 55 or 60/18 easily depending on brand. Check with your tire shops. A suspension and/body lift would also increase ground clearance but you don't have a lot of choices and could be costly.

The bottom of the Air box has a check valve and if the check valve is broken or missing then water can get into the engine and break the engine
