05 Lr3 fault codes
2005 LR3 SE -DTC fault, trans fault, special programs not available, cruise control not available...I have tried new brake switch.... ( actually not a Land Rover one, I was told that a Ford Focus one is the same) I’ve tried a new battery and checked rear lights. All these faults used to come on right away but then I burnt out a headlight and now the faults don’t come on until I drive for a couple of mins. Also, once the codes do come on I am able to shift through all my gears WITHOUT my foot on the brake..... even in and out of park. Anyone have any advice. Also if I start the truck with my foot on the brake the codes don’t come up, when I release my foot I start to hear some clicking noises then the codes.

try a genuine LR brake switch. sounds like the Ford one is sending screwed up signals to the car. The shifting and pressed brake when starting part sounds most like this being the case.
also make sure you put the new one with the same orientation as the old one and that its definitely fully seated in.
