Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know where I can get a gearshift connector? I'm looking for that black piece that plugs into the gearshifter. Mine is so corroded and I've tried everything to clean it but still get the infamous "D" light staying on all the time. I've swapped out the circuit board right under the shifter to no avail. I've soaked it in electronics cleaner and all that gunk won't even budge. I actually broke a shifter pin messing around with it. I've looked on ebay, facebook, and craigslist national, and offerup. I don't think the dealer would have have just that connector but I guess there's just one way to find out.

 

I ended up installing a new gearshift selector this morning and the the lights on the shifter itself light up at the correct selector. I guess for future reference, the gearshift could also be from the gearshift siide. Now if I could only get it out of park while running as opposed to nonrunning on position.
