05 LR3 HSE 4.4L HDC Fault, Hazards flashing, Won't Start
I am having the exact same issue, (2007 4.4 V8 ) new battery, new alternator, but still having intermittent “hazards of death” sometimes it comes back on sometimes not, sometimes it’s fine for a day. Can you expand on the expedited service you received programming the used instrument cluster? Did you purchase the GAP tool as well?
Update: I purchased a used cluster from eBay. It was a 05'-06' cluster even though mine is a 07'. I purchased the fast lane service from GAP and installed the cluster without any problems. It's been installed about a week now and it seems to have solved my problems. I'll report back if anything changes.
Good to know now thank you! Which GAP tool did you purchase?
FIXED!!
Used instrument cluster from ebay ($70) + IID GAP tool ($538) + GAP diagnostics fast lane service ($33) = one happy guy
Thank you to Patrick at GAP Diagnostics for extremely fast and friendly service!
Also, thank you to everyone here for your responses and help. Hopefully someone down the road will find this thread (and WYRover's) useful.

Hey...thanks all who have posted on this thread. I've found this incredibly helpful as I have experienced this _exact_ same issue. It's really annoying (and kind of embarrassing) to be driving around with the hazards flashing. My issue started after a local mechanic replaced the blower motor and control module....before then I had no issues. I asked them to look again, but they said they couldn't find anything wrong with the blower, and they couldn't diagnose the system fault that I was seeing. I can't help but feel these are still related somehow though, and maybe the blower is just not plugged in properly or there's something wrong with the control module?
I don't mind poking around at a few things on my own - I'm wondering if someone can help point me to some directions on how the instrument cluster is accessed on this vehicle? I have an '07 LR3 HSE and I haven't been able to find any youtube videos showing how the cluster is accessed, and whether the whole dash needs to be removed or not? I'm hoping it's not that involved.
Thanks for any help/direction you guys can give. I can't tell you how helpful these forums have been for me!

Hey everyone - just want to say thanks to those that have posted on this thread. It was incredibly helpful to me - I ended up trying to get my IC repaired, which didn't work, so ended up buying a used replacement off ebay and using the gap-diagnostic tool.
Removing the cluster on the 07 was just like the range rover sport video above, and I ended up replacing my cluster with an 08/09 rover sport cluster, which looks identical from a fascia perspective (has same h/w version on the back).
The gap-diagnostics tool seems very powerful, which makes me very nervous! Most of the ECUs have updates available, but I'm nervous to do anything that I don't need to if the vehicle is running fine. Does anyone have an opinion on that? Also, during the setup of the new cluster, I didn't flash the IPC, but they are telling me I should, but they aren't telling me exactly why....the tool goes "ECU Flash" -> "IPC MY07+" but with everything running well, I'd hate to skewer it now. Did anyone else go through this procedure and skip this step, or know what this step will actually complete?
I've gone about 100k since the cluster swap, and no flashing hazards or system faults yet.
Thanks!
